Moon Confesses… I really really hate to admit this, but I love this Coffee Mate coffee creamer, and pour it into my coffee every morning. The hazelnut flavor is my favorite! I have never looked at the label because I’m afraid to know what is in it — as they
Well, I need to confess: I'm not perfect and the last time I checked I'm just a human being. And while I'm on a journey and mission to live healthier and promote healthy living, I do have moments of weakness and the Moon does fall, figuratively speaking. I like desserts and junk food just as much as the next person. I also have days when I'm depressed, stressed, doubtful, fearful, and lost. So in the spirit of self improvement and spiritual growth, I am going to be an open book, sharing with you all of my weaknesses, foibles, and vices here. I highly advise you that if you should take any tips from this page (which I don't recommend), please do so knowing that while we may fall sometimes, we should always rise, striving to improve and grow each day. If you are willing to share any of your own vices, weaknesses, etc., I would love to hear from you cause it would make me feel less guilty about mine! ~Moon
Moon Confesses… In the interest of always protecting my spiritual karma, I made a promise to myself a long time ago that I would always be honest with the people I really care about in my life. Breaking my own spiritual law, I recently told a lie to someone close
Moon Confesses… I have to confess: this week I binged, which usually happens when I’m feeling stressed or anxiety ridden to help relieve the negative emotions. However, to my credit, I made a big effort to binge healthy with carrots and celery but I finally broke down and caved in
Moon Confesses… I grew up eating these Asian shrimp chips, which are very popular among Koreans. They not only have such a distinctive shrimp flavor, which I love, but also a nice crunchy bite. As a teen, I remember whenever we went to the Korean supermarket with my mom, we
Moon Confesses…. By about 9:00 or 10:00 pm at night, I have an urge to scavenge the kitchen for some snacks. I can’t stay away from chocolate, cheese, and certain Asian snacks, like these seaweed covered crackers. Sometimes, I can exercise self control and restraint, but other times, I am
Moon Confesses… I can’t seem to stay away from ramen soup noodles, which actually have high salt and fat content. The fat is placed in between the noodles so they don’t clump and stick together. I love the Korean brand Shin Raymun, punched with such spicy bold flavor. To remove
Moon Confesses… I had a wonderful summer intern, Corinne, who ate ice cream every night — seriously, every night. We discovered this green tea ice cream flavor by Haagen Dazs, and I thought I had found heaven on earth! The taste of the green tea is so subtle yet sophisticated.
Moon Confesses… I tend to like salty foods, which is due to eating mostly Korean food growing up. While I still love Korean cuisine, it has high salt content. Sometimes I find myself adding extra unnecessary salt to both non-Asian and Asian dishes — not good for the blood pressure.
Moon Confesses… Yesterday, I was down on myself…I received an unpleasant call from someone in the past. Usually, I brush off negativity, but this time it hurt, maybe because I had a history with this person. Then, I saw this post on Google+ by an Angela Tyson-Barstow, and it really
