Help Me Find My Spiritual Home

With Easter around the corner, I was thinking about my own spiritual home.  Please help me — a spiritual junkie — find my spiritual home and community.

Have you heard of Doreen Virtue? She is awesome and talks about Jesus, Mary, Bhuddism, Hindu sages etc. She has so many books and YouTube videos on healing, blocked energies, fears, clearing with Archangel Michael and other angels of pure light. I love your videos by the way and hope you get this message and I get a reply or you can email me Moon Cho. I will pray for God to help you find your spiritual home.

Thank you, Lucia! Yes, I know Doreen Virtue well. I have 2 of her spiritual apps on my IPhone, which I will be doing a video about! Thanks for your prayer! Many blessings to you.

I have 2 of her apps also. I also like Melanie beckler from Ask-Angels.com. But Doreen is great.

        • Moon Cho says

Yes, what I like about Doreen — the angel lady — is that she’s very unique and special.

    Hello Moon,

Thank you, Marna, for sharing your spiritual home with me, which means sooo much to me. I am going to check it out.

      • Marna says

        Dearest Moon,
Please do ‘check it out’ online, but if you would like to visit one of our places of worship I have provided a link so you can type in your address and find the location nearest your home. From your video I looked up, what I think is your approximate lotion and see at least 8 in your area for English as well a few Korean speaking congregations. Just go to the link and choose your preferred language and the choices for your area will come up. here is the link:

In the meantime this will also explain more about our places of worship https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/meetings/video-kingdom-hall/

Dear Moon, I hope this finds you and your mother happy and well. I have been thinking of you just about everyday wondering if anything from your readers has helped you on your quest. I thought that this link may be interesting to you. There are so many topics that people wonder about listed here. The answers provided are from the Bible and guide you to your Bible. I think you will find the topics interesting and be surprised what the Bibles view is when compared to many doctrinal teachings. Please enjoy! https://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/questions/
One topic I thought may be of interest to you is “Religion”. If you scroll down and click on it, even more topics appear for you to explore.

At any rate, know that you are being thought of and know that I appreciate all of your efforts to share with your community!

            Very Sincerely,
            Marna

Thank you, Marna. Looks like a great resource. I know when it’s the right time to find my home, I will do so. In the meantime, I know God is always with me no matter what because that is how God operates–unconditional love and guidance. We have God in us no matter where our official spiritual home is, so I will enjoy the journey of exploring and letting God guide me in wonderful ways. You are so kind to share and I genuinely appreciate it. Many blessings.

            Good Morning Moon,

I check from time to time to see the other responses to this discussion. It is a subject very close to my heart, as I know it is to yours. Seeing few responses made me wonder. Do their “spiritual home” because of your request. Perhaps people, today, do not search, they stop asking questions. Important questions about life. Maybe they feel there are no real answers. Or maybe its because they have been taught that it is wrong to question God, even with a simple “why?”. Your open admission of your recognition and desire to fill your spiritual need is so admirable. It shows faith that there are answers. True spirituality transcends the temporary satisfaction of rituals, as you so aptly recognizen’t you agree that many people are not aware that they even have a spiritual need? That is why I appreciate, so much, your bringing it to the attention of your readers. You brought the subject up and perhaps, at least, made them think. Even if they didn’t respond they may wonder about. It is based on knowledge, logical, reasonable knowledge, not mysteries. Knowledge is acquired through searching and asking, which in turn results in discernment and wisdom. Our Creator wants us to ask questions. Our children are always asking questions! We are God’s children. He created us with the desire to want to know. He would not have created us that way if it were wrong to ask or question him. The fact is that we will always be learning and that is so exciting!

My best to you and your mother!
            Marna

Hello Marna, Thank you for checking in. Most of my viewers watch my content on YouTube or Facebook, which is why you don’t see a lot of responses here. I received many wonderful suggestions on YouTube. Yes, I think these questions about spirituality are the foundation for living in our truth because we are spirits in a body, not the other way around, which is why for me, my spirituality and nurturing my spirit is the most important thing I can do in my life. While we may not have all of the answers, I think the fun part of living is the journey of discovering our soul’s path and nature, and when we are on that path, life opens up to us in miraculous ways. Thank you sooo much for caring, and your words are so wise and kind. Love and many blessings always. Moon

            Dear Moon!!

I do apologize! I write my emails elsewhere and copy and paste them. I don’t know what happened to this one but it made no sense!! I went back and found the one I should have sent. I was in a hurry and wanted to send it before I left, thinking it was fine…anyway for what ever it is worth this is the one I meant to send…..(short note at the end 🙂 )

You don’t have to respond to this, I know you are very busy and I don’t want to take up your time. I love what you said “the fun part of living is the journey of discovering…..” Yes!!! I do agree, thank you for taking the time to answer me!

With Love and Blessings to you as well, Moon!

You sound just like me, with a few exceptions, I joined the Catholic Church in the 80s but the last 15 years, I feel my spirituality has changed and I am more interested in other religions. I go to Buddhist meditations, the Univeralist Unitarian church and th Catholic Church. I cannot make up my mind. No Hindu temple around. It is very difficult esp when family and friends do not understand the evolution of my spirituality, I wish you the best. Keep seeking!

    • Moon Cho says

Hi Becky…Sounds like you cross all religion barriers like me. Please remember that it’s your singular path and journey, and only you know what’s best for you, as no one can know your Truth. Thank you for your best wishes, and yes, I will continue this journey.

Thank you for that link. Yes, I have personally spoken several times to members of Jehovah Witness community here in my own town on my block. Very nice people.
